After messing around with some test websites, Tau Online (TO) was the first real website I created – when I was 11 or 12 years old, back in 2001. TO was a fan-site for the Tau army of the tabletop game called Warhammer 40K.
When I gave Tau Online up to a friend in 2009, it had hundreds of pages of content, over a million forum posts and around 10,000 members. At one stage it was also top of Google for the keyword ‘Tau’, despite Tau also being a letter of the Greek alphabet!
